Seniors' Forum went very well; tonight the CAW Debate -- this is the big one!
All candidates did a credible job; unfortunately the Green Candidate had to send a substitute because of a death in the family. Condolences were given by everyone -- she's got some good points and was missed at the debate.
I feel bad that there was a death in this candidate's family. But why the heck would the debate organizer's allow a substitute?! The purpose of the debate is to allow citizens the opportunity to get to know the candidate better. In order to do that the candidate has to be there. This candidate had excellent reason for not being there, but you can't just send a substitute.
