James, I'm shocked! Not by the excellent reporting of the truth behind what is really happening in Attawapiskat (never mind how this relates to the many other reserves that are equally in dire straights) rather than the cowardly and dispicable 'blame game' the HarperCONS have been perpetrating to their red neck base, but by the fact this came from the National Post. Holy mackeral!
Maybe there is hope for our FNs if factual truth is finally allowed to be told, and reported on?
I'm more shocked by the quality of the National Post article - the newspaper has tended to be an apologist for the Tories over the years - than I am about the situation in Attawapiskat.
Through decades of both Liberal and Conservative administrations, funding and management of the portfolio has been a disgrace. To this point I don't care who gets credit or blame, I think it's simply time to fix it.
