The omnibus federal budget bill contains a provision abolishing the Fair Wages and Hours of Labour Act which requires federal contractors to pay workers the prevailing wage in the region. So... that with the EI changes means???
It means that instead of selecting quality contractors that provide honest jobs to Canadians, the Conservative apparatchiks will have cover to select the much cheaper bids by corrupt contractors that exploit temporary foreign labour.
