Years ago I bought this piece for next to nothing -- I have always liked it. Somehow it reminds me of the surface of some distant planet. The artist was working in London, Ontario in the 1970's -- if anyone recognizes the style let me know -- I'd love to contact the painter to say how much I still like the work!

my first reaction to this was that I didn't like it, but after looking at it again, it reminds me of blades of grass criss-crossing in a meadow and I do like it! I guess that's the neat thing about art. For every viewer, it's a unique experience :)
