OTTAWA - Liberal Leader Stephane Dion has moved to trump the Tories with a promise to double the Harper government's $1,200-a-year child care allowance and restore the court challenges program abolished by the Conservatives.

Well, I am still worried. Everyone I talk to keeps coming back with "yeah, but he's not a leader".

Has anyone read the Reuters headline and article on Morton's site:
"Canada's Harper takes big lead, rival in trouble"
"Dion's looking good" isn't exactly how I would have put it.
