Your brain is shrinking: Nintendo's new market

"At your age your brain shrinks".

So says the subway advertisement for Nintendo. The advertisement comes with a photograph of a couple in their late 40's or early 50's.

The advertisement goes on to suggest you can 'stay sharp' with Nintendo's new activity package.

Of course, there is no suggestion Nintendo will increase your brain size. (Increasing organ size is a typical web promotion not normally seen in subway ads).

That said, is it clear that a smaller brain means a slower brain? In my experience older people (at least until a rather advanced age) are as 'sharp' as kids with the added advantage of having more life knowledge.

Oh well, maybe I'm just being a crabby old guy -- and that Nintendo package looks fun!

Maybe I can deduct it as a medical expense???
