"Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek."
Yes, I know some have been disappointed in Obama -- I say give him time but whatever (and yes I supported Hillary) -- but no matter what you think of him (and no matter whether you are conservative or liberal) this quotation is good and true.

Yes, and he needs top remind his supporters that it is they - not he - who will have to create the change.
As for myself, I have always believed this. I have long since given up hoping for any sort of change to come from politicians. After all, they are the ones for whom the system has worked, and is now in the process of making rich. They will not create change. Only we can make change.
I think Dick Morris is right. Barack Obama governing from the hard left will give the Republicans huge gains in November.
Scott Brown was Obama's wake up call, and he is ignored it.
I wish I'd had that quote in front of me today. We had a meet & greet for our Liberal candidate, and some of those attending expressed some dissatisfaction with the party's current leader.
I rather fumbled my response, but what I should have said was that while I've never been head over heels for Ignatieff myself, if we keep waiting for Pierre Elliott Trudeau to rise from the grave and lead us all to the promised land, we're going to have a very long, dry season indeed.
Or, what Obama said.
