Question: People who attended this party had to pay $1,100. That is the maximum political contribution for a year. So, how did anyone know whether or not they had already made a contribution? If they attended other Liberal events they would already be over the limit. How is that all handled?
Anon1: Any Canadian can make a contribution of maximum 4300$, depending on the year. 1100$ to an association, 1100$ to a political party, 1100$ to a leadership, if there is a leadership taking place or if there are debts to be paid from a previous leadership, and if you are a candidate, you can contribute 1000$ to your campaign if you are campaigning.
