Conservative crowd drowns out question about support from man acquitted in Air India

Frankly this should be beneath a Prime Minister -- if you don't want to answer a question just say "that's it, thank you, no more questions". But to have the crowd drown out questions? Well, that's not right:

http://bit.ly/hVAm0s

"Conservative partisans deliberately drowned out a journalist's question to Mr. Harper during a Greater Toronto Area campaign stop Saturday as he was being asked about a Vancouver candidate's endorsement by a man acquitted in the Air India bombing.

The Tory Leader stood quietly while members of his staff and a crowd of about 500 at a Coptic Christian centre clapped and cheered loudly to prevent a CBC reporter from quizzing him further on his defence of Vancouver South candidate Wai Young.
...
But the Conservative Leader refused to answer this follow-up query, waiting as the crowd at the Coptic Christian Centre in Mississauga applauded and cheered him for about 60 seconds.

It's the first time a Conservative crowd has purposely drowned out a reporter's question of Mr. Harper during the 41st election campaign.

Tory staffers encouraged the crowd. Among those doing so was Marc-Andre Plouffe, who before the campaign was a senior advisor in the Prime Minister's Office."

Same bully tactics that Con staffers have used on numerous occasions, such as at the CJPAC party when they raised the noise level while Iggy was speaking. They've done it before, they'll do it again. Con bullies running the country.

And that is conbot mentality in action...

I don't know if this incident will hurt Harper. I do think it was in poor taste for the crowd to drown out a reporter. Unfortunately for the Conservatives, the drown out was probably the main issue today instead of Harper's message.

Yes...after which this so-called 'journalist' doesn't wait for the Prime Minister to answer the question in French as well (as was rudely demanded of him by this supposed journalist), but decides to shout out yet another question after the microphone had already been passed to the next reporter (hopefully a REAL one, this time).

This guy is an embarrassment to the profession. And you, Mr. Morton, should really check out these stories before you decide to comment on them...

What about a PM that limits reporters to five questions?

What about him? What does that have to do with anything? The Prime Minister has long since made it clear that the Press Gallery is no longer calling the shots as to where, when and how many questions they will be permitted to ask. The job of the reporters is to get ratings and make money for their employers; the Prime Minister's job is to run the country. It really is that simple.

Please don't try to tell me that you think important news is somehow being withheld because of limitations to the number of questions being asked. Trudeau held the press in just as much contempt as Stephen Harper does (perhaps more)...were you equally outraged then?

With havin so much content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright
violation? My site has a lot of exclusive content I've either authored myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any methods to help protect against content from being ripped off? I'd
certainly appreciate it.
