This year, as part of its annual Daffodil Month activities, the Society is stepping up the fight against cancer by designating April 27th as Daffodil Day. On this day, we are asking Canadians to wear a Daffodil Pin in support of those in their lives that have been affected by cancer. You can join them by looking for pins in your community and wearing it proudly on April 27th. You can find a pin location using our interactive map at

Pretty sad, but can somebody please respond to this:
Why is this fiasco being tolerated?

This is totally disgusting.
It certainly is a gap in the legislation. The Board was set up to compesate the victims of crime -- and the family of a murder victim are not, in themselves, legally, a victim. But they certainly suffer greatly and I, for one, believe they should be entitled to compensation as "victims"
