In a remarkable turn of events we learned today that Dr Charles Smith, the discredited forensic expert, gave testimony in an Ohio capital case. His testimony was key in convicting a soldier for the murder of his child. Fortunately the death penalty was not executed -- time will tell if this is yet another miscarriage of justice.
