Morton, I've got a serious question for you because you're a lawyer.
There is a terrorist in Ottawa on trial right now for plotting to kill civilians in Britian. His lawyer however has told the court he actually wanted to go and fight for the taliban against Canadians and other foreign troops.
If the lawyer is right and his client indeed wanted to fight in Afghanistan against Canadians, is that not treason?
Does this guy in Ottawa not fall under the "treason" law in Canada?
It would seem to fall within the definition of High Treason, s. 46(1)(c) of the Criminal Code. I suspect this has not been charged because of political fallout -- treason trials are always, by their nature, political. On the other hand, maybe he wasn't charged with this because it's a clearly made up story.
i'm shocked that Tim Horton's sign has got this wrong. There is at least 1 Tim Horton's on the list..Roast Beef I think. Either way, I think I'm off processed meat for quite a long, long, long time. I predict a spike in the demand for eggs, salmon and tuna.

Why is there no talk about this?
I saw Tim Hortons slowroastbeef slices on the list of recall.
