I don't know what could be said to justify the gas prices being lower in Eastern Canada AND the Atlantic, vs. Alberta? The whole Big Oil argument about cost of transport, etc., just does not fly.
They know they have a bunch of oil employees in Alberta, who would never say anything against them. The price in Vancouver is actually lower than Calgary or Edmonton if you consider the extra Metro Vancouver levy. This is also including the BC "Carbon Tax"...
We always knew the arguments against a carbon tax were a sham... That Big Oil would simply adjust upwards the cost, and not pass along any savings to consumers...
