And now Ignatieff is the illegitimate leader of the party.

Harper lite is crowned it seems....

Unbelievable. Remind me, again, why I'm a member of this party (for now)?

A back room deal to take over government and now a backroom deal to take the leadership. Whatever you believe, this will be the optics heading into the next election. How can we continue to say that the Tories are the ones with the hidden agendas?

Now that's silly -- Rae withdrew leaving Ignatieff. What should we do now -- run an election with one candidate?

James you cannot be that naive.
Bob is withdrawing as there was no way to win under the conditions of the backroom deals.
There will be hell to pay from the membership.

You must be naive to believe Rae could win. After what we just went though with the 'Left' of this party.

No more pipes to smoke please.

sad day to be a Liberal.

Not necessarily Bob supporter, but it's pretty hard to stomach continuing to pay a membership fee to be a member of a party that has no sense of the word grassroots.

Bob was classy today, and may have even won me over. Too late though.
