Time for that Executive to find a candidate for the next election that can beat Kent.

I would hope that Peter Kent fades into the dust next election. I have a Liberal friend that lives in Thornhill and she was as stunned as I was, at Kent taking the riding, from a very good MP.

James,

Are you the president of Thornhill's riding? Or have some other position in the party there?

Hmm.. a noticeable lack of woman at the table, save the defeated candidate.

Hello there, how does one find out about the happenings with the Riding Association? I recently joined and am trying to find a website or newsletter or something? I was not able to attend the annual meeting but would have like to know what happened. thanks!

Still waiting?! Do you monitor your blog or not?! how can you be 'prez' of this riding association if you don't even check up on it every so often.

I think the Liberals have a very good chance of taking the riding back. Thornhill was one of many losses in their worst election showing (as a % of the popular vote) and that was enough to do Susan Kadis in. However the Tories are certainly going to be losing ground in an election where the economy is sinking. Iggy's explicitly pro-Israel stance will help as well as the Tories won't be able to use it as a wedge issue. Susan Kadis should take another shot at it.
