As several of you commented the site Mike Crawley seemed to be one of front runners for LPC President. He would have been a wonderful President (I go way back with Alf Apps and support him but that doesn't mean I didn't see how good Mike could have been).
However, Mike has discontinued his campaign and is encouraging people to speak to and consider Alf.
Mike is a great Liberal and a good man!

Apps is a top man. Not only is he an incredible political mover-and-shaker, he's also a generous man with a good spirit.
Frankly they are both excellent. I like Alf, who is a man of real vision for the Party, but Mike would have been an excellent President also. Let's try, as Liberals, not to shoot at each other!

My concern is less Mike versus Apps and more the fact that Iggy Nation made it clear to Mike that he wasn't part of the club and wasn't welcome as President.
We need a big tent and yet the Iggy folks are "taking care of their own".
