While speaking in Toronto recently Michael cast a long shadow ... .

The Liberals claim to have raised $1 million dollars last night, they also claim that half of the thousand people attending donated $1,000 dollars.
So if half of a crowd of 1,000 people paid $1,000 how do you reach a total of $1,000,000?
Brown paper bags passed under the tables?
The Liberals raised $5.8 million for 2008 according to Elections Canada and the Conservatives raised $21 million.
So if you add last nights to last years for the Liberals they only have to have some fourteen more events like last nights to catch up to the Conservatives total for last year. Heh
The other interesting bit is that Belinda Stronach and her dad Frank organized this little event, Frank being a failed former Liberal candidate.
I wonder if any in that unenthusiastic crowd were Magna employees?
First it was the federal Liberal leader's job. Now it is the party president's.
Liberals likely won't see a race for their party's presidency after two candidates recently dropped out, leaving Alfred Apps, a prominent Toronto corporate lawyer and a close friend of Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff, the only candidate left standing.
Meow meow! We raise some decent money and the Conservatives are upset! Come on guys -- you do pretty well at fund raising -- we have learned from you!!!

Good one... Too bad it was Frank McKenna not Frank Stronach.
The CBC mentioned BS, FS and FM.

No democracy in Liberaland.
The Liberal Party of Toronto, what a joke.

I don't think that the LPoC has learned anything at all.
I will be interesting to see the next quarterly filings with EC.
How long will it be before Iggy is thrown under the bus to join Dion?
