Extreme comments

I like the National Post.

It's a well written and interesting paper.

But it's not a Liberal paper.

And to read it at the moment you would think an election was under way. Letters and cartoon all worry about "tax and spend" Liberals.

But who brought back deficit spending?

Who balanced the budget?

Perhaps we should complain about the tax and spend Conservatives???

The Cons are always telling Canadians that the Liberals will raise taxes but if you ask them (Cons) how they are going to get out of this deficit, they have no answer...

It's a complete lie what the Tories are saying, and the media, even the left wing media, are letting them get away with it.

The left are thinkers, the right are feelers. Once a group has been demonized, it is easy for the right to believe any rediculous and bad thing about them. It doesn't have to make sense, it just has to feel right. At the same time, they intuit that the *opposite* of the bad thing must be true of their tribe.

'But who brought back deficit spending?'

The coalition of opposition parties.
Remember? After the government tabled a balanced budget (with a razor thin surplus)
$30 Billion in stimulus spending demanded by the opps or they would seize govt and install Dion as PM.

'Who balanced the budget?'

Chretien and Martin did so by
using illegal taxation of EI premiums,
and then raiding the $54 Billion surplus in the EI fund to show fake surpluses.
The courts said so.

Conservatives don't know how to balance the budget...Flaherty left Ont with a $5 billion dollar deficit. It took a Liberal gov't to straighten out that mess.

How did the Cons spend a $13 billion surplus with nothing to show for it?

Why did they waste $300 million on a useless/pointless election?

Finally, how are the Cons going to get us out of deficit?...Do you hear the silence? Yeah, of course you do...

Yes, the Liberals balanced the budget when they were in power. And yes, the conservatives tend, historically, to run deficits and to be generally bad with the books.

But, it is a bit absurd to be proposing that the Liberals would not be running a deficit during this current economic downturn, and rather disingenuous to blame the conservatives for the current deficit. *Especially* given that the Liberals, alone among the opposition parties, voted in favour of it, keeping the Tories in power.

The correct response to the Harper government, and one we would assume Ignatieff will actually take, is one directed at the flaccid response he has shown to the very real hardships being felt by millions of Canadians.

Good day, sun shines!
There have been times of troubles when I felt unhappy missing knowledge about opportunities of getting high yields on investments. I was a dump and downright pessimistic person.
I have never thought that there weren't any need in big initial investment.
Now, I'm happy and lucky , I begin take up real income.
It's all about how to choose a correct companion who utilizes your funds in a right way - that is incorporate it in real business, parts and divides the income with me.

You may ask, if there are such firms? I'm obliged to answer the truth, YES, there are. Please be informed of one of them:
