Timing is everything

Funny how you get media attention.

I was at a conference when Stephen Harper made an announcement for legislation I thought was dicey. I blogged the point.

Moments later I am doing a live interview on the point and now I am going onto Canada AM with CBC in a moment. Front page of Globe and coverage across the country.

Timing is everything.

Canada AM is on CTV. So is it CBC Newsworld or CTV?

I read that this morning. Well done, sir.

Before you know it, we'll have you in the House of Commons!!!

I just finished reading the Globe article you were in and you made some very valid points.

As an "unexpected announcement", to me it seems Harper's doing some political posturing in advance of an election.

Winnie, It sure looks like election posturing to me too. Wouldn't be surprised if Harper called ANOTHER snap election just near the end of the summer break - after doling out millions at photo-ops all summer long(look what we are doing for YOU!).
