China to limit death penalty?
The Supreme People's Court announced that the death penalty was henceforth to be limited to only the most serious crimes of violence and to be used only against a small number of offenders. China presently executes for non-violent offences. While maintaining the death penalty the announcement, if true, is a big step in the right direction.
