McNamara dies

Robert McNamara died today at age 93. He was a fixture of my youth and a major force in US policy in Vietnam. Later in his life he suggested the war had been a tragic mistake. He was likely right there:

A better way to say it:
He was a war criminal who spent most of his post-gov't life trying to atone for his sins.
