CBC ran a huge story near the top of their newscast, a few minutes ago, featuring a videotape of the Reformatory leader at a no-media, no-public party gathering in the Sault.
A sampling of what the Cons didn't want you to hear:
· On his claim to be satisfied with a Parliamentary majority: "Let me be clear about this, we need to win a majority in the next election campaign…we need to win a majority…to teach them a lesson."
· On women, gays and minorities which are helped by a government program: "[They're] left-wing fringe groups."
· On gun control: "We are still trying to get rid of that registry…we need a mandate to get that thing passed."
· On our international allies: "[We don't poll] the U.N. General Assembly to determine Canada's foreign policy."
· On judges: "[They're] left-wing ideologues."

As unappetising as Harper is, what do the Liberals offer at the moment? Iggy is Harper Lite...
It is hard to "want" an election now because Iggy and WK say so... They had chances and did not take it...
It is a hard fight James with all the polls being run by the Cons showing favor to them. How are we ever going to convince voters otherwise with all the numbers leaning conservative...even the CBC is now running the Ekos poll which is run by Frank Graves a conservative henchman...how can we win?...gramps
We win by doing. We win by informing all Canadians that they should fear a Harper majority.
Let's not forget folks that the Nazis came to power through the ballot box amid economic turmoil. With our perverted electoral system there may be enough people in Canada who agree with Harper's worst, most distasteful opinions to give him that majority.

YOU are never worth the read. You leave your bitter, Iggy bashing comments all over the Liberal blogosphere. Perhaps you should join the Conservative blog aggregators & create your own blog as you seem to prefer keeping Harper & Cons in power. It doesn't seem to matter to you what Harper is doing to this country & it's policies - things which the Libs would not do, like taking away human rights, hating women,gays, & people who don't have a white skin colour, & on & on - these are just a part of Con/Reformatory policies/agendas. These are certainly not Ignatieff's & the Libs policies.
I was wondering what was going on yesterday when I saw Jeff Jedras use the term "Reformatory". It was out of character and frankly beneath him. I thought it must be some centralized edict from some one in Liberal HQ pushing the talking points and it seems I'm right.
Come on Morton, is this really the best you guys can do? Are you all going to become Kinsella-clones using the same shrill, over-the-top talking points? I mean, it's sad.
These are certainly not Ignatieff's & the Libs policies.
I'd certainly like to see Iggy's policies. So far, he has only supported Harper...
