EKOS Poll

EKOS is often an outlier. That said, information we need to consider:

Conservatives extend poll lead over Liberals
CBC News
...
The EKOS poll, released Thursday exclusively to the CBC, found that 39.7 per cent of respondents supported the Conservatives, while the Liberals had 25.7 per cent backing. The New Democratic Party had the support of 15.2 per cent of respondents, with the Green Party and the Bloc Québécois both at 9.7 per cent.

Strategic Counsel poll puts Harper's Conservatives at 41 per cent across Canada, with Ignatieff's Liberals slipping to 28 per cent

You forgot that one...

Maybe the Toronto braintrust should be fired....

I thought is was Ipsos Reid that was the company that had historical problems with higher CPC numbers.

Anyways the numbers reflect the sentiment of the Sudbury declaration by the Liberal leader against the advice of his own MP's.

Dion also tried to "rally" the troops and get the monkey off the back, to return the party to normal.

How is it working out so far?

The LPC should fire the person who included the "adult conversation" in the press release. (This will be worse than Beer and Popcorn)

The framing of an arrogant party is nearly complete in most Canadians and the LPC are now leading with the under 25 years old demographic.

PS. That demographic won't show up. BM did not have this level of support pre-writ outside QC.

James..nothing worse than a pissedoff liberal to make crude remarks...I would not believe Peter Donolo...Frank Graves or DarrylBricker ...if they were holding hands with THE POPE AND standing on a stack of bibles...keep remembering folks polls are run by CRAPPERS...granny

What exactly has Harper done to garner these numbers? The idea that voters might be rallying behind Harper simply because the like Iggy a bit less is absurd. So what has Harper done for Canada to make voters think he deserves a majority?

Its not so much what Harper has done, I think it has more to do with what the Liberals haven't done. It does look like the Toronto brain trust may have even lost Toronto.

Not sure what the LPC has to do, but they had better find something soon unless Harper stumbles, the LPC is big time toast.

I think you all need to re-read the definition of an "outlier." An outlier is a poll the goes against all other polls and polling trends. This poll, is in line with all other polls and polling trends. That's some crazy kool-aid you guys are drinking.

You're grasping at straws. EKOS is the polling company of choice of the CBC & the Liberals' beloved Red Star. When they start showing the Grits this far behind the Tories, you guys are in trouble.
