SEVEN THINGS WE  SHOULD KNOW BUT PROBABLY DON'T

1.  Money isn't made out of paper, it's made out of cotton.

2. The dot over the letter i is called a  'tittle'

3. A raisin dropped in a glass of fresh champagne will  bounce up and down continuously from the bottom of the glass to the top.  (that makes my day!)

4. Susan Lucci is the daughter of Phyllis  Diller.

5. 40% of Mc Donald 's profits come from the sales of  Happy Meals.

6. 315 entries in Webster's 1996 Dictionary were  misspelled.

7. The 'spot' on 7UP comes from its inventor, who had  red eyes. He was albino.

Mr. Morton - here is something that TV viewers SHOULD know but somehow the information is kept from them.

You are presenting yourself as an "expert" TV talking head on various topics - nowhere do they tell us that you are a Liberal strategist /supporter/promoter.

Don't you think that would be more honest when you are giving your so called "expert" opinion on legislation -especially Conservative legislation?

I'm just saying....

Fair point -- but if you look you'll see i'm pretty even handed in my legal stuff -- so, for example, I spoke widely on the speeding stuuf which was liberal legislation.

Just ignore Marie as she is one of those Con trolls that go all over the blogosphere, newpaper articles, etc. with partisan BS.

Marie - the subject was interesting tidbits. Do you have problems concentrating.

And, Marie, we all know about Mr. Morton - get back to your PM approved post-it notes attack list.

Mr. Morton, you are wrong about Susan Lucci. I checked various sources of info because I found it hard to believe:

Personal life
Lucci's father, Victor, was a first-generation American. Phyllis Diller, contrary to various internet rumors, is not her mother Lucci has been married since September 13, 1969 to Austrian businessman Helmut Huber.

Now I'm a troll - for asking a reasonable question?

You don't think that "experts" should state their political affiliation if they are heavily involved in a political party?

How about MARRIED to Liberal strategists like a few Toronto based journalists? It is just the same full disclosure Liberals demand from everyo9ne else.

Marie - you are a paranoid troll.

Considering 95 percent of our media is conservative, your arguments are silly.

Left media - Toronto Star
Right media - CanWest, Sun, CTV/Globe. Now, the Sun own most of the small town newspapers east and CanWest own them west.
The Globe and Mail used to be the only centred paper until CTV took over.

Mr. Morton has never hid his affiliation - it's all over his blogsite and being a legal expert why do you questions his right to a legal opinion?

If you can't do the math - go back to school.
