We'll get some sense of where Harper is going from whether he makes any major changes -- my guess is he won't but even a small adjustment may be telling:

It's been a full two days since Veterans Affairs minister Greg Thompson resigned from cabinet (effective immediately.)
And given that Parliament has been prorogued and political journalists bore quickly, we've all decided to take that as a sign that a cabinet shuffle is imminent.
Indeed, there are whispers it could even be tomorrow morning. Egads!
Thompson says he stepped aside because he feels he's done what he can. But the resignation does open a position, or at least a promotion, for someone.
The Prime Minister's Office had confirmed previously that a cabinet shuffle is coming and his advisors said that it will be about "fine-tuning." We read that as meaning small -- more of an adjustment, rather than a complete upheaval.
