It is foolish to fear what you cannot avoid.

Watching Ignatieff speaking at the anti-proroguing rally.

He's saying...

"You do not want this..." and "You do not want that..."

This is very distancing. It emphasizes that he is not a part of the people, that he is separate from them (and above them).

When he addresses a crowd, especially a crowd of people protesting for one of _his_ issues, he should be saying "We..." and not "You..."

(Again, it's this basic stuff that Ignatieff continually gets wrong).

You have to cut Iggy a little slack . . . after all he's been in school most of his life, totally cut off from the "Real World".
What did Iggy say about the other 104 Prorogations that have taken place in Canada since Confederation? Who used this the most? Why PET . . . about a dozen times I believe, but the media failed to notice.

Downes you forgot to mention Ignatieff keeps asking a question after his statements with...right? He needs to drop that word as well. It is as if he is asking permission to make the statement.

Nice story as for me. I'd like to read something more concerning that theme. Thanks for sharing that data.
