Waving signs and chanting “Hey, hey, ho, ho, Prorogation’s got to go,” thousands of people gathered Saturday in downtown Toronto to protest Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s move to shut down Parliament.

The rally was one of 50 planned Saturday across the country by the grass-roots group Canadians Against Proroguing Parliament, which sprang from a Facebook group of more than 200,000 members started by an Alberta student. They want Harper to change his Dec. 30 decision to recall Parliament March 3; protestors say MPs should be back to work on Monday.

I don't know what the Lib MPs have been doing, but the Conservatives MP's never stopped working.

Morton, you should know better than to perpetuate this type of falsehood.
