Mandatory Continuing Professional Development now required for Ontario lawyers

Bottom line is starting in 2011 all Ontario lawyers who practise law will be required to do mandatory ongoing education - NOTE, this is NOT self-study.

I suppose reading the Law Society's 190 page tome doesn't count toward my 12 hour annual PD requirement?
