Talking about religion

In a piece discussing American views (Eight in ten rely on divine guidance in making decisions) today's National Post notes Canadian studies showing 82% of Canadians claim belief in God, 70% believe in miraculous healing and 65% agree that God has a interest in them personally.

Even assuming some said what they thought the pollster wanted to hear or what they thought society found acceptable, religion remains a major force in Canada.

Why hasn't God ever intervened during wars except to tell George W. Bush to invade Iraq? Hmmm... yes. Right!!

Who the hell did they poll? The audience at 100 Huntely? Hardly credible.

What everyone needs is a little more information about a certain topic before asking for evaluation. Obviously, the results are not what we all expected because they probably don't even know the truth of the matter. I read an article on http://usminc.org about the importance to inform/educate people and comparing this poll and that article, I would have to nod my head in agreement
