This is a strong piece from the Star, but it makes a valid point -- this time the race for Toronto mayor is a full time position for almost all the players:
Bruce Davis is a busy man. He is chair of the Toronto Public School Board, the biggest in the province. He is running for reelection as a trustee. He operates a bed & breakfast 270 kilometers away in Gananoque. And as of this week, he is manager of George Smitherman’s front-running campaign for the Toronto mayoralty.
Any of these could be seen as a fulltime job. How does Davis cope?

a lovely spot in the summer. I have fond memories of seeing the Threepenny Opera at the Thousand Islands Playhouse a few years back.
