Christa Brown's "This Little Light" traces sexual abuse of children in the Southern Baptist Convention. A depressing book -- and certainly not sympathetic to SBC. It suggests that Protestant clergy lead Catholic clergy in sexual abuse of children. Worth reading but not cheerful.

What a sicking excuse for RC priests becoming child abusers from reading this book. I hope you don't believe this. RC priests have been abusing children since 360 when documents were written at the time.
oh heavens, i don't see the abuse of children by pastors as justifying abuse by preists! In no way -- it is the abuse of paower mixed with religion that is the same but neither excuses the other. Both are dreadful!
Do these clergy read their Bible?
Jesus Said(Mark9:42-48 Catholic New Jerusalem translation):
'But anyone who is the downfall of one of these little ones who have faith, would be better thrown into the sea with a great millstone hung round his neck.
And if your hand should be your downfall, cut it off; it is better for you to enter into life crippled, than to have two hands and go to hell, into the fire that can never be put out.
And if your foot should be your downfall, cut it off; it is better for you enter into life lame, than to have two feet and be thrown into hell.
And if your eye should be your downfall, tear it out; it is better for you to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell
where their worm will never die nor their fire be put out.’
Castrate pederast priests.
Jesus (Matthew19:12):
“There are eunuchs born so from their mother's womb, there are eunuchs made so by human agency and there are eunuchs who have made themselves so for the sake of the kingdom of Heaven. Let anyone accept this who can."
I suspect that a priest who rapes believing children in Jesus’s name, probably commits an unforgivable blasphemy against the Holy Spirit!
Jesus (Mark3:29):
‘...but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, but is guilty of an eternal sin.'
And how about having temporary (reversible)hormonal castration if credible accusations arise against a clergyman, till guilt or innocence is established?
Anon 10:39 RC's rearly use the bible. I know a RC teacher who got fired because he talked about the bible to his students.
