If you go onto the QuAIA web-site (here: http://bit.ly/8WXeX2 ) you'll find the passage below.
"BANNER MAKING!
Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Noon: Instead of celebrating this colonial country (which the apartheid state of South Africa was modeled after), come hang out with us and help prepare for Sunday. We'll provide materials, but if you can contribute paint, brushes, placards, etc. we'll take em! Email keli.bellaire@gmail.com for the address."
One might ask, if Canada is an apartheid colonial state, why protest Israel on the streets of Toronto?
But maybe there are such protests at the PRIDE Parade in Tel Aviv?

The claim is that Canada *was* the first apartheid state. And our historically bad treatment of First nations people is a matter of record.
By the end of your post, you've converted that into the claim that Canada *is* an apartheid state, which nobody claims.
You seem to have a real blind spot on this issue, so much so that your logic is completely unreliable, as the present post shows.
Of course Morton has a blind spot when it comes to certain issues.
He'll showcase abuses when they are from Iran or muslim countries... but it is "Israel right or wrong but always right"...
That's unfortunate. I do not support any political party that bows to the Israel lobby, and their bedmates, the fundamentalist Christian right.
Obviously I disagree -- but post away
It seems to me that canadian aboriginals love the apartheid system! Didn't they just demand that the indian act be upheld with regards to the HST?
Why don't you moronic hippies go hang yourselves?
The indigenous population of North America was slaughtered, and the few survivors forced to subsist on 'reservations', where they remain to this day. Anyone who tries to compare this history with the Jewish State of Israel and its fight for survival is willfully ignorant.
