Ontario Place clutter -- sometimes less is more

Today's Star has a good story on how clutter (more buildings more exhibits) has taken away from Ontario Place.

There is a tendency to fill empty spaces with "stuff".

Another example is Toronto City Hall.

The square in front has gone from starkly bare -- and brutal but beautiful -- to a place filled with booths and memorials and trees. The effect it to spoil the vision. It became a hodgepodge.

Take Ontario Place back to what it was -- simplify. Sometimes less is more.
