G20 Court date no big deal

There will be three hundred names on three set date lists?  That’s what all the fuss is about?

It’s a little longer than normal but not by orders of magnitude.  It’s common for lists to have 70 names and to run for many pages.

The only thing truly unusual is the nature of the offences and the (likely) politics that will take place outside the Courthouse – that will be unusual.

TORONTO — The stage is set for a crush of people to descend upon a Toronto courthouse Monday as more than 300 people charged with offences related to the G20 summit are set to appear, along with their families, supporters and lawyers for what will be a marathon session of mass appearances.”

*Chuckle*

300 people in 3 days? I heard in Thunder Bay recently, they had to borrow an old school to house the trial of a fraud scheme on discovered on one of the First Nations... Only 10 people were charged.
