We're looking for an election? Not

I ain't seen any signs of that. No, here Stephen Harper is just rallying the troops. I still say an election is 2011 at the earliest:

OTTAWA — Prime Minister Stephen Harper accused opposition parties of pushing for an unwanted election as he opened a summer caucus retreat, pledging to maintain the government's focus on the economy.

"We know there are some in the opposition coalition again threatening an election," Harper said. "But, colleagues, that is not what Canadians want."

Emerging for the first time in more than two weeks, Harper limited his opening remarks to a few minutes, explaining that the caucus had "a lot of ground to cover," in its discussions behind closed doors.

I have certainly no trust in that man. Harper is very nervous about the Auditor General's report on Stimulus spending, etc., which is due sometime in September.

The bus tour is considered even by Liberals to be a dry run for the real thing. IF,and it's a big if, the numbers stay very close as one poll suggests(not likely but who knows for sure) the Libs will try and pull the pin.
