"There will be peace in the world when religion dies."
The idea that religion causes wars is ridiculous. Does anyone with a basic knowledge of history really think the crusades were about religion? Wars are caused not by emotion or by hatred, they are caused by greed, or a need for land or resources, or to distract a populace from other issues. Religion is only the cover used to whip up a populace who wouldn't otherwise support a fight to gain some Lord's second son a bit of land. And the hatred of religion among so many secularists is just as easy to manipulate as the deep seated religious feelings of so many followers of various religions. There will always be fools who think they are better than everyone else, secularist knobs are just the latest in a very long line.
