Elections aren't about choosing between ideal candidates

You get to choose between those who are running. LBJ is supposed to have said "the choice isn't between me and the Almighty. It's between me and the other guy".

So long as the incumbent is running against an undefined the incumbent does poorly - that's why Obama is suffering - we don't know who will run for the GOP.

Not so fast!

Even some idiots on this side of the border made Obama out to be a messiah. You know the HOPE T's?

The reason he won is because he didn't have George Bush supporting him or his legacy to defend. It should have been a landslide.

He is suffering also because he was overhyped. He promised a new prosperity that won't come for a long time.

He has been wishy-washy on a lot of decisions that scream for leadership.

How would he (or anybody else) know the damage that had been done by Bush on the banks etc..Deregulation to the max. I think this going to take a long time to fix.
