Interest not normally added to cost awards

Barber v. Molson Sport & Entertainment Inc., 2010 ONCA 674, released online yesterday, is a good source for the principle that, in general, cost awards do not attract interest:

"We are satisfied that in the circumstances of these appeals, the costs sought against Mr. Vrozos are fair and reasonable.  The court does not normally add interest to its costs awards."
