Gridlock hurts

A small construction project on Finch Avenue in Toronto created a 30 min delay for several hundred cars and buses.

Imagine the gasoline burned and more the families who didn't get together for an early supper.

A small thing?

Just traffic?

Perhaps, but it affects people's lives and a slightly different approach could have avoided it all.

We need to rethink our approach to roads and traffic.
