Mystery solved? Guilty verdict in Chandra Levy murder

A Washington jury on Monday found a violent felon guilty in the 2001 murder of Chandra Levy, a former intern who had been romantically linked with the California congressman Gary A. Condit, bringing to a conclusion one of the most sensational unsolved crimes of the last decade.

Ingmar Guandique, 29, was convicted of first-degree murder after nearly four days of jury deliberations.

Mr. Guandique, an immigrant from El Salvador, is already in prison, serving a 10-year sentence for assaults on two other women in Rock Creek Park, near where Ms. Levy’s remains were found more than a year after she was reported missing. Ms. Levy, 24, had been jogging in the park on May 1, 2001 when she disappeared.

"Mr. Guandique, an immigrant from El Salvador,"

I would like to note that this scumbag was an "ILLEGAL ALIEN", not an immigrant.

Big difference.
