And yet back in April the United Nations elected Iran to its Commission on the Status of Women, handing it a four year seat.
I'm so glad you Liberals take the rejection of Canada's bid for a seat on the UN Security Council seriously. I guess SOMEONE has to.
So Nonny.....no mention of the fact of the UN's rank hypocrisy that it allowed Iran, an known abuser of women who still uses STONING to PUNISH them, to join and remain part of it's Commission on the Status of Women.
Only the radical left could completley disregard the hypocrisy of the UN.
Only a complete ideolog would ignore the failure of the UN. These are the same blowhards who protested Canada walking away from Durban-II, until the hate-fest was made public. Most Canadians were proud we took a stand against such hate speech. I think the Liberals were more concerned with losing their free vacation junkets than actually representing Canada.
