Marc was my neighbour, and i am very surprised by his passing. He was helpful and did a quantity of work for me and my wife which he just treated as normal neighbourly help. He casually referred to his work as "sending nasty letters", but he was quite professional in the way he carried it out. I always felt indebted to him, and i regret not being able to do something for him back.

We talked about languages, he taught me some things about Hebrew and Yiddish, and kept me informed of goings-on in the neighbourhood.

Good neighbour, good guy. Marc will be missed.
