Today is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception

The Feast of the Immaculate Conception celebrates belief in the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is celebrated on 8 December, nine months before the Nativity of Mary, which is celebrated on 8 September.

In Ineffabilis Deus of 8 December, 1854, Pius IX pronounced and defined that the Blessed Virgin Mary "in the first instance of her conception, by a singular privilege and grace granted by God, in view of the merits of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the human race, was preserved exempt from all stain of original sin."

Mary was preserved exempt from all original sin at the first moment of her animation, and sanctifying grace was given to her before sin could have taken effect in her soul.

Why do you feel that you have to give religious lessons? Strange.

There is no such thing as a virgin birth. It's a made up story. Historians say that virgin births were not unusual in thise days (i.e. Alexander). It was used to cover up illegitimacy. You see, the leaders at the time, like King David, were considered God and this was used to cover up his indiscretions.

You seem to be pushing YOUR religious beliefs.
