"We have a stop and stay order"

The truth is that public transit is pretty good.

But it is slower than driving and it is fair from comfortable.

Can that be changed?

The crowding at rush hour is inevitable but the speed of moving people should be something that can be addressed.

Well, actually, the subways are super-fast, much faster than actually attempting to drive the same distance, even if you have to wait for the train. So it's not like all public transit is slow. Just the public transit that depends on the overcrowded roads.

The obvious answer is to build a more effective subways system... but oh. Toronto just elected a mayor who torpedoed that idea. oops, not so bright.
