So, do you agree with him or not?

And he was as right then, as he is wrong now.

I watched the whole unedited interview (11 minutes). It was all about the "right" and it problems with uniting the right. Harper is clear that conservatives needed uniting or a coalition in order to win. Watch the whole interview, you get a better read.

The end of the interview was a bit rushed.
What also know is Harper was not running for Prime Minister at the time. Big difference.
If you want to propose a opposition coalition to overthrow the winning party in a minority situation, that is fine, as long as you say so in the election campaign, and be clear about it. The NDP and Bloc are very clear now that they would.
Ignatieff?.....I do not know.
As Ezra Levant said today.

"Ignatieff has claimed his love for democracy caused him to force this election campaign. Perhaps that love can move him to disclose whether he will accept another Conservative minority mandate — and what conversations he’s had with the NDP and Bloc about any post-election “accord.”"

So Harper is right to continue to frame this narrative, and posts like this keep the dialog going.
