Here comes an election

Queen Elizabeth I disliked wars because, among other things, they are uncertain.

So are elections.

Remember the NDP majority in Ontario?

I have my preferences for the outcome of the election but what will happen is quite unsure.

What I can say is that the Conservative government has failed on one of its main promises coming into office -- making government more open, transparent and honest.

The hyperpartisan conduct of the Conservatives is behind much of the problems. If you are one of them you can do no wrong; if you're not one of them you can do no right. This means ignoring the flaws of some and looking only at the flaws of others.

Not really.
Harper was quick to call the RCMP
on Helena Guergis and Bruce Carson.

Did Chretien release the type of documents the opposition are demanding? No he didn't and simply because he had a majority and controlled the committees. To say that Harper is "hyper-partisan" ignores the super-partisan committees that re using their powers in a way they never did when their guy was in power. The abuse of parliament is occurring at the committee level and I am not surprised that a government is wary about giving sensitive documents, documents that would normally never be available, to a committee of highly partisan members.

The whole Canadian system is CORRUPT.

So much so, that none of them are in jail.

None.

Not one.

In the USA, they jail public figures daily.

Why not here in Canada?

Why is McGuinty not in jail for the ehealth scandal?

1 BILLION went missing at NOTHING IS DONE?

For real?

Consultants getting thousands of dollars a day for doing NOTHING, and NONE are in JAIL?

Morton, how does Dalton McGuinty evade justice?

Why do the police need to be asked to investigate the government?

I don't understand how any political system can be ACCOUNTABLE if the police cannot investigate the government.

Morton, who investigates the ELITISTS in Canada?

How can nothing be known or done about ehealth?

After you explain to me the above, then we can move onto Harper and how corrupt he is.
