York Vote Yes to #CLASP (Community & Legal Aid Services Programme)

Next week, all York students are entitled to vote in an online referendum at

— one of the referendum questions concerns CLASP (Community & Legal Aid Services Programme), headed by former YUYL President Ben Keen, who's an Osgoode student and still a great friend of the club.

We strongly encourage each and every one of you to take about 10 seconds to vote ***YES*** for this great campaign.

CLASP has not received a funding increase since 1969, over 40 years ago!! A successful referendum would mean that CLASP receives an extra $0.10/credit from undergrad York students, in addition to the current $0.05/credit it receives. Current funding levels are atrocious and simply unfair.

--WHEN YOU CAN VOTE--

Voting begins on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 10:00am and ends on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 11:59pm.

There are two ways to vote:

and sign in using your YorkU account

2)Visit one of the following six polling stations:-Vari Hall-Student Centre-Scott Library-Osgoode-HNES-GlendonPolling stations are open from 10:30 am to 6:30pm.
