Canvassing at UOIT today

The students are engaged and not, as some suggest, all radically left-leaning.

They are concerned about social issues, and very few seem to be social conservatives, but they care about the deficit.

And frankly that makes a lot of sense because the deficit and the broader government debt will have to be paid by someone and that someone is ... the students of today! Yet one more good (moral) reason to get government spending in hand!

Nobody expects students to be left-leaning any more. Tuitions and other costs have effectively re-gentrified university, ensuring campuses tilt compliantly right these days. As intended.
