That's an impressive shift, especially as the trend lines are in favour of the Liberals.
But but but the election is still a ways away and other than political junkies like me most folks haven't really thought about it much. Today's polls are still early.
But the polls do have some meaning.
My own sense is that Tim Hudak overplayed to the right with his criminal justice positions. Perhaps that's my own bias, but most people realize crime is a federal matter and with a 'tough on crime' Federal Government things like work gangs and gps locator bracelets are seen as irrelevant.
People are concerned about provincial services and the memories of Mike Harris (yes, long ago but Tim Hudak was a part of it) and the recent Rob Ford cutbacks are making the solid, steady Liberal Party much more appealing.
We may well see a third majority.

Hope so for the province's sake. We're still feeling the after effects of the Harris government.
Wasn't it Mr. Hudack under the Harris govt that fired thousands of nurses?
