PCs plummet while Liberals climb

Such a huge and rapid drop suggests to me the electorate's view is unstable. Which means Hudak can still turn it around, especially with the debate ahead. But but but he has a much bigger task ahead than he expected.

Progressive Conservative support in Toronto is plummeting, according to a new poll.

The party has slipped to third place in the city, dropping 10 percentage points since June 1 to 24 per cent support.

The Liberals, who hold 19 of 23 seats in Toronto, is at 39 per cent, up from 34 per cent three months ago.

The NDP, which has four seats here, has leapfrogged the Tories and is at 30 per cent up from 26 per cent.

Another poll show Hudak with a 9 point lead accross the province. If both polls are accurate, and they could be, Mcguinty must be in trouble outside the 416.

The Star poll is a 416 area poll only. McGuinty has virtually all the seats in this area right now so there is no new seats for him. He can only lose them.
